I'm Leanne. Originally from the UK, I moved to Spain to travel, experience a different culture and embrace new opportunities. What began as an adventure became a fulfilling career in education.

I studied Law at university before pursuing a career in teaching. I am a qualified Montessori guide for both Children's House and Elementary as well as having extensive experience teaching English to both adults and children.

I believe every child is unique and deserves to learn in a warm, nurturing environment where they feel valued, respected, and inspired to reach their full potential. That's exactly what we strive to foster every day at Cuarto Creciente, creating an environment where children feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn.

Outside the classroom, I am a proud mum who loves spending time with my family and my dog, reading or travelling. I love exploring new places and learning about different cultures, and those experiences continue to inspire both my personal life and my approach to education.

I was born in Salamanca, but life—and a love for new challenges—brought me to Logroño, the city where I’ve decided to settle down and start a family.

My calling to teach goes back a long way. I always knew my path lay in working with young children; I started out in the world of recreational activities and, over the years, turned that passion into my profession. I hold a degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education, with specializations in Music, Therapeutic Pedagogy, and English. I view education as the most powerful tool we have to transform the world and support children as they grow.

A traveler and a foodie: I’m passionate about discovering new cultures and tasting the local dishes of the places I visit. That curiosity led me to live abroad for four years—splitting my time between Ireland and Australia—which greatly enriched my personal and professional outlook and gave me the chance to explore different parts of the world.

A connection with nature: I love sports and the mountains. My perfect plan is to get lost in nature with my dog, unplug, and breathe in the fresh air.

What drives me: Without a doubt, spending quality time with my family and friends.

My name is Chrysanthi, although I’m equally known as Chrys. Here are a few things for you to get to know me better.

As you can see my name is unusual, and that is because I come from a small island called Cyprus, although I am also half Russian. I fluently speak English, Greek, Russian and Spanish. English has greatly contributed to my professional endeavours and that is thanks to the fact that my educational background was fully English based. That also led me along exciting opportunities and meant that I could live and study in different places including England and Canada. I then eventually moved to Spain after finishing my Psychology degree back in 2019. Now I call Logroño my home.

Despite my name being unusual, my hobbies are less niche. My favourite ones are sports and art. Any creative venture is welcome my way but especially drawing and painting. I am a very active person, and I practice different athletic activities daily. My dog is also a big contributor to keeping me active and out in nature.

In terms of the professional trajectory, I have always worked in education with children of all ages. I coached basketball, been an English teacher and eventually became a Montessori Children’s House Guide back in 2021. My aim is to provide children with a safe space where they can receive an education based on respect, fun, creativity and exploration. I’m happy to welcome you to our school and hope you can find your safe space with us.

Hello, families! I'm Alicia.

For as long as I can remember, I knew I wanted to work with children. I remember playing at being a teacher with my family, but it was my own teacher, Begoña, who truly awakened that calling in me. Many years have passed and I still remember her with deep affection.

I'm a Riojan born and bred, an early childhood teacher and a pedagogue. During my professional practice I discovered a gap between what I felt education should be and what I saw happening in reality.

Motherhood was a new turning point for me. It led me to explore conscious parenting more deeply, and a way of understanding childhood that fitted my view of the world far better. I wanted to put those ideas into practice, so I trained as a Madre de Día — a home-based early years educator — in order to create my own educational project. It was along that path that I came across Cuarto Creciente, first as a mother and, some time later, as part of its teaching team.

When I work alongside children, what I want above all is for each person to feel safe, respected and free, unafraid of making mistakes or of expressing what they feel. In my practice, I try to respect each child's own path and whatever it is that makes them unique. I believe that educating also means caring for what is already there in each being, trusting in their abilities and guiding them as they discover the world.

Nature holds a very special place in my life and in the way I understand human development. I try to spend as much time outdoors as I can with my family, enjoying the sun, quiet places and the rhythms and changes that each season brings. I love hiking, discovering plants and animals, and simply being in nature. It's a way of living that I like to share with the people around me, offering them chances to discover and feel what is natural and alive. I'm also a keen reader and a lifelong learner.

I'm delighted to share this path with the team, and to accompany more people every day with deep respect, trusting in everything they are capable of doing, discovering and building.

I'm Claudia, born and raised in Córdoba, and this school year I'm beginning a new adventure that brings me to Logroño, thrilled to discover a new city and to become part of this school community.

My calling has always been tied to education. I hold a degree in Bilingual Primary Education and another in English Studies, and I am an AMI Montessori guide for Elementary (ages 6-12). Over the past few years I've been lucky enough to work in a range of schools and Montessori environments, both in Spain and abroad. Those experiences showed me different ways of living Montessori and, above all, confirmed that accompanying children through this stage is what I want to dedicate myself to.

For me, educating goes far beyond passing on knowledge. I like to observe, listen and get to know each child, accompanying them as they discover their own capabilities, grow in independence and find their place within the group. One of the things that fascinates me most about Montessori is precisely being able to awaken their curiosity and help them see that everything we learn is connected.

Outside the classroom, I love to travel, discover new places and immerse myself in other cultures, and I take any chance I get to slip away somewhere new. I enjoy history and, above all, nature: I feel deeply connected to the sea. Animals are an important part of my life and my dog is my inseparable companion, so many of my favourite plans are simply going for a walk and finding a new corner to explore outdoors. I'm very close to my family, which helps a great deal when I'm far from home. Music also has a special place in my life, with a soft spot for indie rock, and I'm a food lover: I enjoy eating well, going out and sharing a good conversation with the people I love.

I start this chapter in Logroño eager to meet the children, their families and my new colleagues. I'm delighted to be joining the team and to accompany the 9 to 12 environment through such a special stage of their growth.

I was born in Miranda de Ebro and trained as a teacher in Burgos. I began my career working in after-school activities and in mainstream schools, until I discovered the Montessori approach — a philosophy I identify with deeply. I am trained as a Montessori Guide for both Children's House and Elementary.

For me, educating means accompanying each child with respect, calm and trust in their abilities, honouring their own pace, needs and interests. I love observing them, supporting their emotional and motor development, and offering them an environment where they can discover their full potential. That is also why I trained as an Expert in Psychomotricity and Neuromotricity at UNIR.

A little more about me…

I love rural life and enjoying nature with my family. I'm also passionate about travelling, getting to know other cultures and broadening my perspective. I enjoy reading a great deal, especially outdoors, and books that let me learn about all sorts of subjects. Music, meditation and the search for calm and awareness are an important part of my life too.

I feel very fortunate to work in education and to keep learning every day from the children, who are, without a doubt, my best teachers.

Susana grew up between the United States and Logroño, and English and Spanish are both mother tongues to her. She has taught English since 1997 — first in private classes, then for more than twenty-five years at Academia Victoria, preparing students of every age for the Cambridge exams, from Starters through C1. Since 2010 she has also been a Cambridge oral examiner.

At Cuarto Creciente she accompanies the Children's House group in English alongside the Spanish guide, during Montessori work and sensory workshops. Her approach rests on natural language acquisition: English shows up in everyday life, without pressure, respecting each child's rhythm and autonomy. Her years with the very youngest children in nursery settings give her a particularly close eye for this stage.

Hello, I'm Carolina.

I was born in Argentina, but life brought me to Logroño, a city that has slowly become my home.

My path in education really began long before any qualification: I was a scout from the age of nine and, from twenty-one onwards, I led groups of children and teenagers of all ages for almost a decade. That's where I learned the value of learning by doing, of service, of teamwork, and of respect for people and for every living thing. It was precisely that experience that led me to study Early Childhood Education. Since then I have kept training and specialising, among other areas, in Neuroeducation.

I also did theatre between the ages of nineteen and twenty-one, as part of CO.DA.MO., a movement-arts company that took our shows to different places. There I acted, danced and, depending on the project, helped with set design and costumes too. Some of that expressiveness and that urge to tell stories still comes with me into the classroom.

I'm passionate about literature and nature. I love reading novels, short stories and poetry; The Little Prince is one of those books I hold especially dear. I also enjoy travelling, getting to know other cultures and discovering new landscapes.

In Logroño I particularly enjoy walking around La Grajera, watching the wildlife and connecting with nature. It's one of those places that brings me peace.

I believe every child has enormous potential. I like to observe, listen and respect their own pace, interests and needs, accompanying them with confidence so they can discover everything they are capable of.

I feel very happy to be part of Cuarto Creciente and to keep learning every day alongside the children, who have a great deal to teach us too.

Hello! My name is Eva, and I've felt called to teaching since I was young — it started with helping my sister with her schoolwork and later organising study groups in secondary school.

I hold a degree in Fine Arts and, although I spent years working in graphic design, some time ago I decided to redirect my career towards my true vocation: teaching. Since then I have taught groups of very different kinds — vocational training, upper secondary, secondary and primary — always in subjects related to art and artistic expression.

I'm convinced that this love of learning and discovering, the innate curiosity we all have as children, is what lets me approach each student's educational challenges and personal circumstances with warmth and understanding, and with an open mind. I'm a calm, orderly person, I enjoy the company of my loved ones and I adore animals; in my free time I love to read, paint and go to the cinema, and to discover new places and people through their culture and food.

My name is Luc. If you ask me who I am today, I think it'd be really hard for me to explain, because I am and I do so many things. So it's hard for me to pin it down into one thing or the next.

For now, I am a husband to my amazing wife. I am a father to two wonderful boys. Whatever people believe I have achieved in my life so far, those two titles are the most important things to me thus far.

I am also now the director of Cuarto Creciente. This comes with a lot of responsibilities that I embrace. I'm also a software developer, I studied psychology in college, and I would call myself an avid artist because I spent many years creating art and teaching art to people.

Long story short: I believe education is the solution to EVERYTHING. It's part of why we bought the school. And for the foreseeable future, I will dedicate as much of my time as possible to ensuring that Cuarto Creciente Montessori School thrives, and that we provide the best possible education to every single student who comes through our doors.
